Beatdropjunkie (Hochstuhl Music Blog) REVIEW
Darren send me a very nice review pack with cover art, photo and music. So I listen to it. The album has 10 songs. I think once again of movies when I start to hear the first title. I think somehow a woodcutter running through the forest. And the story flows. Somehow, my first thought, Titanic. My second leprecaun. In my head is a running cinema. The sound is very good! Instrumental sounds are very good. The voice is very nice and warm and melts with the instrumental. Go To Sea No More - reminds me of Braveheart. The Wind That Shakes The Barley sounds very like dreaming part. Follow Me Up To Carlow, of course, I'm there, I´m in. I really like the swing of the song. This song stands out from the others very strongly. I like it very well, it is very varied and the singing is very memorable. For this album, Darren & his team had found a clear line. The togetherness of this album can be heard very nicely. It is like a puzzle where all parts fit together. The last title round off everything again. A super album with convincing and clear sound. All songs have a memorable character and an extreme recognition value. Thanks for letting me hear this great album.review from Beatdropjunkie founder of hochstuhlmusicblog
